Dear Members,
 
October is Italian Heritage Month and the beginning of our season. This is a special time to celebrate our Italian-American heritage, Columbus Day, our traditions, and the contributions of the generations who came before us. It is also a reminder of why preserving our heritage matters and why organizations like our Italian American Society are so important.
 
As we begin our new season, we ask you to renew your membership for 2027 by the end of this year. There are three ways to pay your dues: by check, by credit card, or by dropping your check in the box at the registration table at our October dinner dance.
 
You don’t want to miss all the wonderful events our club has planned for the remainder of 2026 and throughout 2027. Send in your dues early and continue checking our website for our complete Event Calendar.
 
Membership dues are $50 per person or $100 per couple. Remember, spouses and significant others must also be members.
 
We are once again returning to Stonebridge Country Club for our dinner dances. Our first dinner dance is October 11, featuring a Harvest Gala Dinner Dance, with cocktail hour beginning at 5:00 PM. Get into the spirit and wear your favorite fall colors!
 
We also have several fun events planned for October:
October 7 –   Happy Hour at Oar & Iron, 3:30–6:00 PM
October 11 – Harvest Gala Dinner Dance at Stonebridge Country Club, cocktail hour at 5:00 PM
October 28 – ROMEO Breakfast (Retired Old Men Eating Out) at Patio Café, 9:30 AM
October 30 – Juliet Lunch Bunch at Greenleaf Restaurant, noon
 
Your Board and our dedicated volunteers have worked diligently to schedule a wonderful variety of events, including comedy clubs, wine tastings, dinner dances, our fashion show, and much more.
